“I'm looking for a headless computer to automate my flood and drain hydroponics setup. I grow chillis, but I want better control over the pH monitoring and dissolved solutes in the water. I want to monitor water temperature as well as how wet the substrate is, so that the Raspberry Pi Zero W can turn on the 12 volt pump via a relay when required rather than relying on a timer. A Raspberry Pi Zero W would easily perform these monitoring activities, as well as reporting the findings to my router and ultimately, my phone.”
